An Escape Through Food, Design, and Imagination.

For more than two decades, Buddakan has captivated guests with its iconic ten-foot Buddha, dramatic interiors, and imaginative approach to modern Asian cuisine. Beneath the Buddha, the restaurant’s signature communal table serves as the heart of the dining room, inviting guests to gather within one of Philadelphia’s most memorable restaurant settings. The menu draws inspiration from across Asia, balancing beloved classics with inventive dishes that celebrate bold flavors and thoughtful technique. Distinctive, transportive, and endlessly memorable, Buddakan continues to define destination dining while remaining one of Philadelphia’s most celebrated culinary landmarks.

Cuisine

Explore modern Asian cuisine through vibrant dishes designed for sharing. Signature Dim Sum sets the tone for an abundant evening, while showstoppers like Whole Peking Duck bring rich flavor and a sense of prosperity to every table. Our extensive sake, wine, and craft cocktail list honors tradition with a distinctly contemporary point of view. Seasonal sweets conclude the experience on a refined yet playful note.
